No trees are ever cut to produce Twin-Twigs partyware. It is made from nature's simplest ingredients - fallen leaves, water and heat. From leaf to table, Twin-Twigs is the best eco-friendly alternative to disposable plates, and bowls and a choice you can feel good about. Best of all, when you are done with them, they can be composted and are totally biodegradable, so they go back into the earth where they first started.

Our eco-friendly partyware is made from leaves that naturally shed from the Bauhinia trees, found in Southern India. When we say naturally shed, this means that no trees are ever cut, and no leaves are ever removed. We love this!

Once the leaves are picked, they are then collected, sorted, and washed clean. There are no chemicals or additives used in the entire manufacturing process. It is 100% natural, disposable and chemical-free.

Once cleaned, the leaves are then hand-stretched, flattened out and stitched. A layer of newspaper is then added for extra sturdiness. To create the unique and beautiful shapes they are molded with the use of a heated press. It hardens to a form, which can endure even a harder use than original material - this means durability!

The final result is a refined yet earthy work of nature that will compliment any meal. They are perfect for weddings or events, cookouts, picnics, camping trips, catering and entertaining at home.
